The Breakbeat becomes a full-on disco universe on Friday night — lasers, live sacred bass music, and a dancefloor that doesn’t quit. This is SurprisinglySimple in their element: a live performance weaving original electronic music, live vocals, and laser light production into an experience that moves your body and opens your heart.

The night opens with a set from Modelody, local bass and house DJ & co-creator of The Breakbeat before SurprisinglySimple hits at 11:11pm for a full live performance. The night closes at 1:11am with a live group heart song — a brief vocal sound bath channeled from the energy of the room, to send you home in alignment.

Anthony and Rachel Blum are an Atlanta-based sacred bass duo who have been touring the US and Canada bringing music, meditation, and laser light production to festivals, venues, and communities. Their live sets move through electronic genres — from deep bass to sweet melodic textures — guided by the intention that music is medicine. Every SurprisinglySimple show ends the same way: together.
